Hi! I am Rupashree
After 15 years in the corporate world, I answered the calling that had always lived quietly within me - art.
Born in Mumbai and now proudly home in Singapore for over a decade, I move through the world with one instinct: to capture it. Every new place, every face that leaves a mark - I feel an immediate pull to preserve that moment on canvas. My paintings are memories made permanent. Landscapes that stopped me mid-breath. People whose eyes told stories words couldn't hold.
Each piece is a reflection of somewhere I've been or someone I've met. Translating these moments into art is more than a creative process - it's deeply therapeutic. A way of reliving beauty and honoring what the world has quietly offered me.
I work primarily in soft pastels for their vibrancy and versatility, and reach for acrylics and oils when a landscape demands texture and depth. I've trained at NAFA (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts) and continue learning under practicing artists — always experimenting, always discovering what each medium has to say.
